About the project
"Cleaner Seas" is a 2D puzzle platformer designed to inspire environmental awareness and education about beach pollution and recycling. Players navigate trash-filled beaches, collecting waste to craft "Trash Cubes" for solving platforming puzzles. With vibrant visuals and engaging mechanics, the game transforms polluted landscapes into thriving ecosystems as players progress. Inspired by the efforts of South African NPO Clean-C, the game encourages personal responsibility and real-world action through interactive learning. It targets young adults, blending entertainment with a profound message about sustainability and community involvement.
